Ok, this is seriously and awesomely important.
Last week we did a little Autumn cleaning and went through a few boxes of test pressings. We decided that it’d be way better that fans have them than them sitting in boxes in our office. With that being said, the test pressings for the albums listed below are up for auction on our eBay.
There’s more though. ALL of the proceeds from the Big D and the Kids Table Fluent In Stroll auction are going to Dave McWane to help cover the cost of his medical bills associated with his fight against throat cancer. Also, a portion of the proceeds from all the other auctions will be going to Dave as well.

Here’s a list of all the test pressings that we have up for auction:

Big D and the Kids Table weigh in on Occupy Movement - “It’s Raining Zombies on Wall Street”
Dave McWane and Steve Foote of Big D recently shared their thoughts on Occupy Wall Street’s “people’s revolution” for Amp Magazine.

The occupy movement is a milestone in American and global history. Not since the Vietnam War has the US united with such strength to show disapproval with our current state of affairs. The reasons behind the protest may be different, but the fire fueling everyone is just as strong. You can only be misled by financial institutions, corporations, and the politicians that serve their own interests while claiming that they are the interests of the people for so long before you “fight back.” The occupy movement embodies the spirit of the people standing up for what they feel is just. In a time when the world is erupting in violent protests and civil unrest, the occupy movement proves that peaceful opposition can make a difference. It’s time for the citizens to unite and show the world that change is mandatory in order for our country and others to survive. The protests are made of hard working people and not just political extremists the way the media tries to paint them.
We wrote “It’s Raining Zombies On Wall Street” in reaction to the collapse of the economy, the corporate bailouts, the foreclosure of thousands of homes and more. The idea of zombies attacking those responsible for our current economic state was done tongue-in-cheek. We had no idea the Occupy movement would ever exist. When we got the call that people actually started dressing up like zombies on Wall Street we were amazed! To me the zombie costumes represent the fact that people are not going to blindly follow what we are told regardless of the outcome. We are not brainless zombies but we will dress this way to help express our discontent and mandate change. You can see the zombie protest footage in our new video here: http://www.zombiesonwallst.org

Modern day slaves – that’s what most of us American’s are. We work day in and day out, 8 hours a day with usually an hour commute both ways; sometimes more. That’s about 10 ½ a day. Then, once home from work, you add: winding down, prepare, eat and clean dinner, look over your bills and connect briefly with you spouse and children. You can see that there isn’t much to your life other than working. We do all of this so we can afford to pay our: student loans, car insurance, rent, phone bill, internet bill, 401K, health care and more. These are modern day necessary expenses – yes that is arguable, but if you are looking to succeed in this world than you will need to be able to pay for these things.
We are modern day slaves.
And as the pot of patience of our country boils I foresaw that it would eventually boil over much like France in 1793 did with King Louis XVI. We modern day slaves, like slaves in every place in history, eventually will rise up against The Fortunate, The Swindlers and American Royalty. As the old glue that holds the masks of the GOP loosens, we see more clearly the American propaganda machine – Fox News. And after the Wall Street bail out, paid for by us modern day slaves and the awesome bonuses that came soon after, I knew the heat had been turned up and that we the people would finally boil over.
‘It’s Raining Zombies On Wall Street’ – is a song about just that. It’s a song about a people’s revolution. Our revolution. Why Zombies? Because that how we are treated – mindless and inhuman. So when occupywallst came into fruition I was not surprised. However, when they literally dressed as Zombies, yes, I was pleasantly surprised. It was a funny moment on tour, to actually see a newscaster stating that – “Zombies have occupied Wall Street.” And when the peaceful demonstration spread to other States and other countries I was proud the people woke up. Thank God.
You are living in a time when America not only questions Capitalism, but it questions Democracy. When ‘freedom to assemble’ & ‘freedom of speech’ are met with violent police harming our ‘free’ citizens, then yes, America must either practice what we historically stand for or re-write the definitions for Capitalism & Democracy.
Please, if you have time to watch television, check your profile, relax or simply socialize, then join and support occupywallst.org for the quality of your and your children’s future. You are living in a pinnacle moment in American history – be a leader in these years bold to come. And please vote for President Obama in the 2012 election.
